Tip: Make sure you keep at least 2 weeks worth of raw server logs for every site you run traffic to eBay Partner Network.

This will serve as a reminder for me, but you other readers may benefit as well…

In this forum post we learn of an EPN’er who recently got an email from Ebay Quality notifying him that his account was suspended and asking him for a week’s worth of server logs as well as information on how he drove traffic.

Make sure you turn on your server logging.

How to save server logs if your host uses cPanel:

1) Log in.
2) Scroll down to where it says Raw Access Logs
3) Click – Archive Logs in your home directory at the end of each stats run
4) Don’t click the next remove (do removes manually)
5) Click Save

    ACRU -- a new, active confirmed registered user on eBay. That means an individual who: (a) registers for an eBay account for the first time; (b) becomes a Confirmed Registered User (CRU) by confirming his or her registration with an eBay-supplied password sent by email; (c) then becomes active by placing a bid or using BIN to purchase an item on eBay , all within 30 days of their original registration.

    CRU -- Confirmed Registered User

    GMB -- Gross Merchandise Bought. eBay sales generated by your EPN websites.
