On Monday I received the dreaded email.

Dear X,
Your account is currently under network quality review. Please reply to eBayPartnerNetwork-Quality@ebay.com within 72 hours with a detailed explanation of how you drive traffic to eBay or you risk the termination of you account and 100% reversal of commissions.

Please include the following information about your account:

Campaign IDs for all of your ePN accounts.

For each account, provide:

- Website URLs of all your sites that drive traffic to eBay

- Any server logs:
Please provide one week’s worth of raw web server logs for any web sites that that you use to drive traffic to eBay directly or indirectly. Server logs are produced by your web server and should show each access to the server, giving at a minimum a time stamp, the URL accessed, the IP address accessing it, the referring page, the user agent (i.e. browser) used, the return code and the number of bytes transferred. If you are not sure how to obtain the server logs for your web site(s) you can contact your ISP or hosting service to obtain them.

- Any third party agents that you are currently employing, and/or any server redirects.
- Any special promotional methods that require written approval. If applicable, please include the approvals you have received.
- An example outlining the steps the user would take before arriving at eBay.com

Sincerely,
eBay Partner Network Quality Team

So, I gathered up all my server logs, wrote up a cooperative reply offering up all the information they requested, and emailed it all off to proper ePN email address. Now I will wait and see what happens.

I have been following all of the ePN rules and code of conduct, etc., so I am confident that I haven’t done anything wrong. I just hope that there is not something that I do not know about that trips me up…

Hey I’m very interested in what comes of this… I rely on EPN for most of my earnings also and I’m curious why they sent you that email. Please keep updated! Great blog btw

  2. Holly crap! I can’t believe that I have not had this happen to me yet. Do you filter out bot clicks on your own or check referrers before sending clicks to eBay? This is one thing I always do and I think it might be the only reason I have not received a letter like this. Every click I send to eBay has a valid referrer from one of my sites or else it never makes it to eBay. That way they can clearly see where all my clicks are coming from. Of course I keep all my raw server logs also after hearing about people losing their accounts when they could not provide them.

Let us know how this all turns out. EPN is a great program and to me it is one of the easiest to earn with. It is just a shame that you always have to live in fear of losing it all.

Hmm this is funny usually i know that it people from the 10 K and above will get this kind of problem.I thinking it could due to the amout of traffic you get all the suddent. However i was wonder is ebay trying to learn how you earn this much? This does not make any sense to me .I guessing someone in ebay is jealous of you.
