Average earnings per day: $53
Average earnings per site per day: $0.39
Average earnings per site per month: $11.69
Earnings per $1 of Winning Bid Revenue: $0.51

All my stats continued the dive in April. Overall website traffic dropped 27%, eBay Partner Network income dropped 24%.

On a bright note, I did create 40 new sites in April. I met my goal of creating 30 new hybrid phpBay/auction2post sites. Ten of my 40 new sites are “Ultra-Thin” sites following the One Lung Thin method for creating ultra-thin sites.

The 40 new sites have started to generate clicks. One site launched on April 5 has already generated 105 clicks. Overall, the 40 new sites have generated about 7% of my clicks for April.

I haven’t taken the time to really study the results, but my hunch is that my new hybrid phpBay/auction2post sites are outperforming my new Ultra-Thin sites. Therefore I am going to focus exclusively on creating new hybrid sites in the month of May. Again, my goal is to create 30 new sites this month.

Looking forward, as my new sites generate more traffic, I expect to earn more in May.

Here are April’s full statistics:

For each statistic listed below, the second number is the change from last month’s number.

You think it may have something to do with combining all of your campaigns?

  2. Tony H says:

You know, I wouldn’t be surprised if combining campaigns somehow led to decreased click “quality”. I do miss seeing the long list of campaigns on my ePN statistics page. I have started an effort to move my highest-performing sites and placing them in their own unique campaigns.

Interesting, my traffic/clicks/earnings were down too in April. Wonder if people are tightening their belts due to gas prices? I’ve not been impressed with the performance of my ultrathin sites that I’ve been building since end of March so I’m going back to A2P too. Interesting point about the campaign merge. I cant even tell if I’m getting credit since they’re lumped into 1 campaign. Did you validate your UT sites since the business model requirement? Curious, on your hybrid sites are you using aged domains?

My ultrathins have been doing great. I think traffic has been down due to a couple of things. One is big G of course. My A2P sites bounce like crazy but truth be known I think they get hit for being splogs. Two, as the weather changes people spend less time indoors in front of their computers. Damn people and wanting to see the sun! My May numbers are already looking better than they have in a while holding at .21 epc. Hopefully it will be a good month.

Impressive stats! I’m wondering if the google panda/farmer update has affected your sites? I think it started to roll out on 24th of February, a lot of sites noticed a continued drop since then.
I’m looking at getting back into thin sites, and you have further fuelled my inspiration!
